Children's Opinions
In the Summer Term 2004, the School Council asked children of all ages from 4 - 11 for their views on many aspects of school life. They gave a rating to statements devised by the Council, and many of them also wrote their own comments on the survey forms. To see the results of the survey, please click here. In July 2005, members of Year 6 conducted a survey about reading. They met individually with children from each class, totalling about half the school. They talked about the books the children were reading, how often they read, whether it was enjoyable and how they thought the school could make reading better for them. Please click here to see the results of this survey. They were passed to the school's Improving Standards Team, who decided to improve the library provision for all classes and some groups.

In the Spring Term 2007, the Mayor visited the School Council and asked them to research the views of the children about Chessington - what they like about their neighbourhood and how they think it could be improved. To read the opinions of the Key Stage 2 classes, please click here.
